After some exciting sessions about life as a pirate - and writing their own sea shanties - the Junior Youth Theatre are ready to set sail with their own, original play - The Last Lighthouse Keeper - developed for them by storyteller Peter Lukey and Imaginarium practitioner Julie with lyrics from Shakespeare North's spoken word artist Charlie Staunton.
We are now into rehearsals for The Taming of The Shrew at the Shakespeare North Playhouse and the Imaginarium Hub for our summer Shakespeare production.
From almost 100 enquires to 75 applications considered to over 50 auditions to an ensemble of 22 young people invited to join us for a bonding session last weekend!

We welcomed some new members this week and had our first read-through of our next production, a brand new adaptation of a classic story written especially for the Imaginarium Senior Youth Theatre.
