About the Event

The Bohemians present a brand-new adaptation of Carlo Collodi’s ‘The Adventures of Pinocchio’.

And I know what you’re thinking... ‘Pinocchio?! I’ve heard that story a million times!’

Maybe so, but I bet you’ve never heard a version quite like ours?

Set on a post-apocalyptic planet, we meet a radical robot girl named Pinocchio. She lives inside a cosy little bunker with her dad Joe. Everything is normal. Well, as normal as it can be when the world’s ended. But one day, Pinocchio discovers something that’ll change her life forever... Performed entirely by a cast of four Actor-Musicians, this is a folk-rock fairytale for our times! Expect kooky characters, catchy choruses, and enough lies to make your nose fall off!

The Bohemians are excited to bring their bombastic brilliance to The Imaginarium this Autumn. Eleanor Kane (Fun Home, Billionaire Boy, Hex) stars in the titular role. Joining her is a talented cast of Actor-Musicians including Elliot Mackenzie (Zog, Million Dollar Quartet), Joel Nash (Cinderella, A Christmas Carol) and Liverpool native Abigail Middleton (What the Ladybird Heard, Scouse Pacific). Directed by Benji Mowbray.

So come and join Pinocchio in her hazardous quest across a broken planet. You won’t want to miss it!
